Data Deletion Instructions

Overview

This page explains how you can request deletion of the data EmberOS holds about you or your business, including any information obtained through connected Facebook and Instagram accounts. EmberOS ("we", "us") is committed to giving you control over your data.

How to request deletion

• Email us at hello@getemberos.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request", from the email address associated with your EmberOS account.
• Include your account email and, if applicable, the name of the workspace and/or the connected Facebook Page or Instagram account you want removed.
• If you have an active EmberOS account, you can also request deletion from within the app: go to Profile → Account, or contact your workspace owner/administrator.

What gets deleted

Upon a verified request we permanently delete your personal account information (name, email), your workspace content, and any data retrieved from connected integrations — including Facebook Page and Instagram tokens, page/account identifiers, and any cached posts, insights, or metrics associated with your account. Backups are purged on our regular retention cycle.

Disconnecting Facebook / Instagram

• In EmberOS, open the AI Social Manager and click "Disconnect" to immediately revoke EmberOS's access tokens for your Facebook Page and Instagram Business account.
• You can also remove EmberOS directly from Meta: Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations → select EmberOS → Remove. This revokes all permissions previously granted to EmberOS.
• Disconnecting stops all future access and publishing; to also erase previously stored data, submit a deletion request as described above.

Timeline

We acknowledge deletion requests within 5 business days and complete verified deletions within 30 days, unless we are legally required to retain certain records (for example, tax or transaction records held by our payment processor).
